Table Top Active Anti-Vibration System

Developed in 2007, VAIS-AMT series is Korea's first commercialized tabletop active anti-vibration system. It satisfies IEST's VC-G class of environment for anti-vibration system to accommodate Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), a device especially vulnerable to low-frequency vibration disturbance.

VAIS-AMT also removes resonance phenomenon of passive isolation systems with easier installation and operation procedures. Since the commercialization, VAIS-AMT's excellent capabilities and competitive price have been recognized by worldwide AFM manufacturers and utilized in various nano-measurement instruments.

The pneumatic passive anti-vibration system, which is widely used to block the vibration applied around the electron microscope's installation site, amplifies the vibration due to the resonance phenomenon in low-frequency region. Even in the case of a normal SEM, which is relatively robust against vibration disturbance, the resonance phenomenon in low-frequency region may affect IEST VC-E Class's vibration environment, the minimum vibration state for optimal operation of an electron microscope.

VAIS-CMT is a full active anti-vibration system incorporating 3 axis-6 degree of freedom control technology to eliminate pneumatic passive vibration isolator's resonance issue.

Since a metal coil spring frame supports it, VAIS-CMT needs no compressed air supplier. The lower height of VAIS-CMT improves inconvenience that the pneumatic passive anti-vibration system causes. With a competitive price, it will be the best anti-vibration solution for normal SEMs.

VAIS-SEi was developed for inspection and measurement instruments in clean room environment. Microscopes for inspection & measurement in clean room are exposed to harsh environment. In usual clean room, The noise level is over 70dB(C) and severe vibration input on floating floor is passed on target instruments.

VAIS-SEi is designed and manufactured by patented technology of AMTEK. Shielding target microscopes from acoustical noise in clean room, VAIS-SEi can provide vibration free environment by AMTEK's active anti-vibration system (VAIS-PB). Partical free environment by patened Fan Filter Unit system with no noise feature and constant temperature maintenance by thermal controller can be secured.
